I was more than thrilled to get the chance to review this awesome new nursing accessory. First of all, the features and versitility of this cover are phenomenal. The idea behind it is simplistic. The reason I say this, is because I am surprised that no one thought of this concept before. So many babies, mine included hate to have their heads covered while nursing and some mommies don't like to draw attention to themselves by throwing a frontward cape around themselves and their child to help conceal the "dirty deed" going on underneath! I don't like the stigma around breastfeeding in public and I don't like how that stigma translates to women not wanting to or being afraid to nurse, or feed, their baby in public. It can be embarrassing when people stare, give looks or make comments to you about nursing in public, when you baby doesn't like to be covered, you have no choice but to expose some skin while nursing.

This BabyBond Nursing Cover solves all of those annoying problems in one fell swoop! You wear this cover like a sash across your body. The sash then separates into two sections, one for the top and one for the bottom and allows for you to leave a slit open for the baby to nurse from. Volia! You are covered, nothing is showing and your baby is still able to see you without the distraction of something covering their body or face. This cover will give many newcomers and some private nursing mothers a bit more confidence and freedom to when and where they nurse because it alleviates all issues surrounding breastfeeding mom's being too exposed!
Baby Bond Nursing Cover comes in three different styles.

Here is a break down of each one from their website.
BabyBond Original™ is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt. Separate the layers of fabric to achieve latch on. Double panel keeps breast covered above & below. Belly & back remain covered with your own shirt. Built-in 9 x 12″ double layer terry velour burp cloth. Stores in matching pouch.
BabyBond Flex™ is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt. Separate the layers of fabric to achieve latch on. Double panel keeps breast covered above & below. Belly & back remain covered with your own shirt. Removable 9 x 12″ double layer terry velour burp cloth. Able to attach any cloth or wear without cloth attached. Stores in matching pouch.
BabyBond Couture™ is adjustable creating a custom fit as your body changes after baby arrives. A hybrid between nursing top and belly band, it can be worn to nurse from the top or the bottom of your shirt so it works with your entire wardrobe. When worn like a sash, it functions like a nursing top. When worn like a belt, it functions like a belly band. Rolls up into self-storing pouch.
All three styles are made of the same 100% Cotton Fabric that are all Machine Washable and are Made in the USA. They all come in a Brown, Black and Gray color choice, with the Couture having two more color choices, which include a Green and Blue.
I was sent the Couture in Barcelona, a grayish color. The first thing I noticed about the BabyBond Couture, is the packaging. It has a beautifully simple box with a nice design on it. Then I opened the box, there was no plastic, it was all rolled up into the built in pouch. The cover was so soft! I couldn't wait to try it out. They came up with the ingenious idea of having the instructions right on a large tag on the inside seem of the cover. It showed pictures of how to wear the cover. Since there are two ways of doing so, either around your belly, so you can lift your shirt up or across your chest like a sash. There are easy to follow video instructions online as well!
I immediately started using the sash, since it was about that time anyway and I set up the camera to take a timed picture for me, since I was alone.
I also practiced using the cover as a belly cover and lifting my shirt to feed Kadence, but I wasn't wearing the right kind of bra for that today, sorry TMI, but I will definitely give it a try again soon.Later that night, we went out to the mall and did some shopping and got Kadence's pictures take, by the way, she did awesome! But she wanted to eat while we were out, so I whipped out my BabyBond cover and got her latched with no issue of anyone looking in different directions out of discomfort. I normally get the question, "Do you want some privacy?" I didn't get any response from anyone, they felt like I was being respectful enough to not just whip it out there and expose myself. It was as if it was completely natural for me to use this cover and breastfeed my child. I feel in love with how confident I felt breastfeeding in public too! This is something I will use every time I am out in public and I won't leave the house without. Here's a quick pick my husband took of us at the mall on his cell phone.
I know by now, you have to be asking yourself, how can I get one?
